Board Members

SWTA Board of Directors consist of an elected President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer and 13 other Directors (one representing each state in SWTA's region, two At-Large Directors, one representing a member State Department of Transportation, and three representing Associate members).

The state Directors are those persons who are currently serving as president of their state transit association (or their designee) located in SWTA's region (Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas). The President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, Directors At-Large and Associate Representatives are elected by SWTA members at the Annual Meeting held during SWTA's Annual Conference.

SWTA's immediate past president serves as the Director ex officio. SWTA Board members serve a one-year term and are eligible for re-election to a second one-year term.
