Ann Gilbert Named CTAA Board President

​Ann Gilbert, Executive Director of the Arkansas Transit Association, was recently named president of the Board of Directors of the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) for a two-year term.

“We are pleased that Ann will serving our Association in this important capacity,” said CTAA Executive Director Dale J. Marsico, CCTM. “Her experience, innovative ideas and leadership will no doubt prove invaluable to her colleagues on the Board, as well as the nearly 4,000 members of our Association.”

Having previously served on the CTAA Board for 15 years — the past two in the vice president’s role — Ann brings a wealth of community and public transit expertise to her new role as Board President.

“I am privileged that the Board has entrusted me with this responsibility,” Ann said. “CTAA is a wonderful, powerful organization, and the opportunity to help our members is an honor.”

CTAA is a national nonprofit association of nearly 4,000 organizations and individuals dedicated to providing innovative mobility to all Americans regardless of geography, age or ability. The Association recently celebrated its 25th Annual Community Transportation EXPO conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.
