Request For Proposals (RFP) for Independent Year End Audit Services


​Notice is given that the Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) is requesting proposals from firms interested and qualified to provide independent year end audit services for YCIPTA. A copy of the RFP is available online at www.ycat.org or by contacting YCIPTA starting Monday, April 2, 2012.

The RFP outlines the requirements, selection process and the documentation necessary to submit a proposal. The RFP, all addenda and answers to questions concerning the RFP will be posted online at www.ycat.org. It is the bidder’s responsibility to check this website often for updates.

Request for proposal and related documents shall be subject to a financial assistance contract between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and YCIPTA. All contractors must certify that they are not an ineligible contractor listed on the U.S. Comptroller General’s Debarred Bidders list. YCIPTA reserves the right to accept any proposal or reject any and all proposal on such basis as the purchaser deems to be in its best interest.

YCIPTA hereby notifies all proposers that it will affirmatively ensure that Small, Disadvantaged and Women’s Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.

The successful proposer will be required to comply with all applicable Equal

Employment Opportunity laws and regulations.
