DART: Creative Traffic Specialist
Coordinates daily operations of the Creative Services team. Responsible for managing the master schedule of production projects, tracking deadlines and reporting. Maintains production files for all projects produced through Creative Services. Coordinates artwork to print vendors and ensures delivery of all produced artwork on time. Reports to the Senior Manager of Creative Service.
- Controls daily workflow through a project management system or production database for project/job creation, job status, costs, proofing, approval routing, completions and outsourcing when required. 2. Develops and submits printing requests for Creative Services by coordinating art files and proofs between vendor and agency including obtaining appropriate approvals prior to print production. 3. Creates task orders and ensures budget codes are submitted for project work. Maintains receipts, purchase records and reconciles credit card statements for small purchase print jobs. 4. Coordinates with other DART departments and teams such as Marketing Services, Procurement (for outsourcing) as well as DART's advertising agency of record. 5. Maintains job files and sample inventory of materials for archive storage, ensuring each is complete with artwork and copy approvals adhering to DART storage and archival guidelines. 6. Help develop briefs, contribute to various scopes of work as needed, and prepares reports as requested by management. 7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills & Abilities
- 1. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. 2. Four (4) or more years of experience in advertising agency, print production, or related environment. 3. Proficiency using a MAC, a working knowledge of project management software and related software applications to include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 4. Proven track record of managing multiple projects from beginning to end, on time, by achieving results and meeting deadlines. 5. Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels, both inside and outside of DART. 6. Substantial interpersonal skill to effectively and sensitively communicate with all levels of supervisory and non-supervisory employees, government entities, a culturally diverse community, and others both inside and outside of DART. 7. Ability to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom and judgment. 8. Ability to learn quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner, open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement. 9.
