Valley Metro Operations and Maintenance Center (OMC) plans to execute sole source contracts with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for the Kinkisharyo Light Rail Vehicles (KI-LRV) parts to complete midlife overhauls on the vehicles. Federal terms and conditions will be included in the contract agreements. The list of OEM vendors and their specialty are shown below. These vendors are the only companies capable of supplying and ensuring the parts will interface with the vehicles. These components have been designed or tested to function with other components and for safety reasons cannot be ordered from untested suppliers. (The listed vendors do not reply to this notice.)

Any vendor, organization, or person having information that may refute the OEM determination that the goods being procured are NOT a sole source must respond on the Valley Metro E-Procurement Website: https://valleymetro.procureware.com/home, no later than Thursday, June 17, 2021 by 10:00 A.M. Pacific Time. A login will be required to submit a response.
